Mark Warkentin is the managing partner of Linley Welwood. His areas of practice include real estate transactions, real estate development, business transactions, financing, corporate and commercial law.
Mark graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1988 with a B.A. (magna cum laude), and from University of British Columbia Law School in 1992 with an LL.B. He articled with Miller Thompson in Vancouver and was called to the bar in 1993. Since that time, he has developed a diverse background in business law, criminal law, and civil litigation including seven years with one of BC's leading personal injury firms.
Mark and his family live in Abbotsford, BC, where he and his family attend Northview Community Church. He is a member of the Real Estate Investment Network (REIN) where he is a frequent presenter on legal topics, a long-standing memeber of the Canadian Bar Association, and a director of Jubilee Gold Inc. He and his wife have proudly designed and built four homes in the Abbotsford area.
