The qualified candidate will demonstrate trustworthiness in handling the financial aspects of the business as well as professional conduct. The position is fast-paced and can be demanding at times but should be met with positive demeanor without sacrificing accuracy.
- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience
- Experience using QuickBooks and ESILAW software is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Detail oriented with high level of accuracy
- Organized self-starter able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of applicable Law Society of BC bookkeeping requirements & trust accounting
- Accounts Payable
- Semi-monthly payroll
- Daily deposits
- Reconcile bank statements
- Year-end adjustment entries
- Various remittance; GST, PST, Payroll deductions and TAF to BCLS
- Handle trust and general accounts
Our firm is seeking an intermediate to Senior Corporate Paralegal to join our team!
The successful candidate for this position will have a minimum of 4 years of Corporate Law experience, and be a graduate of an accredited Paralegal program. As the successful candidate for this opportunity, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to managing a variety of commercial transactions from start to finish including asset and share transactions. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal skills, strong attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude with the ability to handle competing priorities.
