Office Manager
Compensation
CAD $100,000 – $120,000 (commensurate with qualifications and experience).

Our Partners are seeking a highly capable and experienced Office Manager to oversee firm operations, lead strategic initiatives, and ensure organizational success. This is a senior-level leadership position, integral to the continued growth and efficiency of our practice.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Partners, the Office Manager will lead key operational areas of the firm, including Human Resources, Marketing, Strategic Implementation, Budgeting, Vendor and Resource Management, and Processes & IT.
Qualifications & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Marketing or related discipline required.
Professional Designations (Preferred/Asset):
- CPHR, PMP.
- Lean Six Sigma certification an asset.
Experience:
- 6+ years of progressive management experience in operations, administration, or HR, ideally within a professional services firm.
- Proven success in budgeting, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership.
- Strong background in marketing oversight, organizational development, and staff leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a positive, high-performance culture.

Litigator
Linley Welwood LLP, a reputable law firm, is seeking a skilled and experienced Litigator to join our dynamic team in Abbotsford, BC. We pride ourselves on providing top-notch legal services to our clients and offer a collaborative and supportive work environment for our employees to thrive.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Litigator with 5+ years of experience to handle a diverse workload. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in general litigation and construction law, excellent advocacy skills and a proven track record of success in representing clients in complex litigation matters.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing of the Law Society of British Columbia
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of achieving successful outcomes for clients
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a workload of commercial construction litigation matters from inception to resolution
- Conduct legal research, analysis and drafting of pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
- Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on various construction law issues, including contract disputes, payment disputes, and construction defects.
- Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to efficiently handle client matters and achieve successful outcomes
- Stay current with developments in construction law and litigation practices to ensure the highest level of representation for clients.
