Howard Wiens was born in Vancouver but spent most of his childhood living on the Prairies and in Quebec. He received his Bachelor of Arts – Business Administration from Trinity Western University in 1987, his Bachelor of Laws from UBC Law School in 1992 and was called to the bar by the Law Society of BC in 1993.

More about Howard
Howard and his family moved to Abbotsford in 1993 in order to begin practicing law with Ed Fast and Lorne Welwood. He has been a member of this firm through all of its various iterations starting with its first name (Fast & Welwood) and through to its current name, Linley Welwood.
Howard continues to live in Abbotsford with his wife. He enjoys traveling, following his grown children’s adventures, attending Northview Community Church, and cheering on the Canucks, Seahawks, and Mariners.
Howard limits his practice to acting exclusively for developers on land development projects.
